Theology

Morling College offers a broad range of courses across three different levels of study – Undergraduate, Postgraduate Coursework and Higher Degrees by Research through the Australian College of Theology. Counselling

Morling College’s Counselling courses are focused not only on a robust knowledge of counselling practices and theory but also more importantly, a capacity to integrate counselling practices in an authentic and transformative manner. Within the counselling course students pursue transformative self-awareness in their personal, spiritual and social identity. This learning informs and develops the professional identity of the Christian Counsellor. The Master of Counselling course is accredited by PACFA and ACA, ensuring professional registration.

Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care

Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care provides education and training in the advanced skills of chaplaincy and spiritual care. The course provides understanding of spiritual care across the lifespan with the ability to specialise in chosen areas. Our graduates are able to apply this knowledge in professional chaplaincy or pastoral care leadership roles in the context of social, institutional, organisational, and community groups. They are able to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in the practice of spiritual and pastoral care, recognising spiritual needs reside in all people regardless of religious or secular beliefs and affiliations. Morling College is registered with the Civil Chaplaincies Advisory Committee as an approved provider of education and training for Civil Chaplains.
