IHEA Opens Office in Canberra

Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA) is pleased to announce the official opening of an office in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT) to complement the current office in Melbourne.

The Canberra office will enhance IHEA's ability to directly represent members and advocate for the independent higher education sector with key decision-makers in the federal parliament and public service.

IHEA Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Dr Jerry Nockles is based in Canberra and will work from the new office. As with other members of the IHEA team, he will travel interstate as required.

The current office in Melbourne will remain in operation thus enabling IHEA to continue to represent members and advocate for the sector with key decision-makers, including the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), located in the Victorian capital.
