Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA) provided a submission to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) providing feedback on the Jobs and Skills Australia Discussion Paper.
The Discussion Paper shares an update on what is being proposed for Jobs and Skills Australia’s (JSA) ongoing arrangements and seeks views on how JSA can work with stakeholders to provide the evidence and analysis needed to ensure Australia has a skilled workforce now and in the future.
IHEA's submission primarily relates to recommendations concerning JSA's establishment and operations.
IHEA also welcomes the appointment of Professor Peter Dawkins AO as Interim Director of JSA.
IHEA looks forward to working with Prof Dawkins and JSA and providing further input into its development and outputs.
