IHEA Supporting Ukrainian Recovery Through Education

Study Scholarship for Ukrainian Humanitarian Visa Holders

Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA) expresses deep concern about the military action in Ukraine and the devastating impact on the livelihoods of the Ukrainian people. IHEA Members are united in their heartfelt concern for Ukrainians currently facing unimaginable hardships and tragedy.

Australia has been fortunate to welcome Ukrainian people over many years who have enriched our schools, higher education institutions, workplaces, and broader communities. With many Ukrainians now looking abroad for a secure future, IHEA members stand ready to support Ukrainian humanitarian visa entrants to Australia through the provision of education scholarships. Education will be critical to ensuring the future livelihoods of Ukrainians, and to assist in rebuilding their towns and cities.

IHEA member institutions are registered higher education providers who offer accredited tertiary education courses in a range of disciplines. All IHEA members are committed to high quality student experience and the capacity for education to transform lives and build a fair and just society.
