Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA) celebrates the excellent performance of its member institutions in the latest Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) survey.
Results from 2022 Student Experience Survey demonstrate the quality of education provided by independent institutions, with IHEA members occupying top positions on various key measures.
The survey emphasizes the high regard students have for independent higher education providers, particularly for skills development, learner engagement, teacher quality, and student support.
IHEA member universities are the top three universities in Australia for quality of undergraduate educational experience.
These are:
- University of Divinity is rated 1st
- Avondale University is rated 2nd
- Bond University is rated 3rd
- Plus, Torrens University is rated 7th (out of 42 universities in the survey)
IHEA members also make up an overwhelming 90 per cent of the top ten non-university higher education institutions for undergraduate universities experience.
These are:
- Leaders Institute is rated 1st
- Sheridan Institute of Higher Education is rated 3rd
- Australian College of Theology Limited is rated 4th
- Campion College Australia is rated 5th
- Moore Theological College is rated 6th
- Marcus Oldham College is rated 7th
- Australian College of Christian Studies is rated 8th
- Tabor College of Higher Education is rated 9th
- Adelaide Central School of Art is rated 10th
