In a letter dated October 14 2026, the Hon Dr Peter Hendy, on behalf of IHEA, raised concerns regarding the course progression exemption introduced through the Migration (LIN 20/158: Class of Persons for Student (Temporary) (Class TU) Visa Applications) Amendment Instrument 2026 (LIN 26/087), which commenced on 2 October 2026.
