The Global Reputation Taskforce (GRT) met this week for the first time to discuss the protection of Australia’s International Education sector. IHEA is represented on the Taskforce.

Please find the communique from the first meeting below.

The GRT was initially constituted to deal with the bushfire crisis and its impacts but its remit has expanded to also include the novel coronavirus.  The Taskforce will advise the Minister on policies and responses to these crises and how best to support the international education sector through these challenges.

Information about management of coronavirus and travel restrictions should be sourced directly from Government agencies where possible to ensure it is up to date. A directory of agency advise is available here.
